ABOUT THE FLEET
What does the rental price include?
Your rental includes comprehensive insurance, roadside assistance, complete camping equipment (kitchen, bedding, heating), unlimited mileage, and personalized route maps with insider recommendations. Fuel is not included.
Are the campers automatic transmission?
Yes. We operate the only fully automatic 4x4 fleet on the Carretera Austral — brand new 2024 Peugeot Landtreks. No clutch, no fatigue on mountain passes.
Do the campers have a private bathroom?
Yes. The Peugeot Landtrek 4x4 includes a private Thetford bathroom with shower and WC — perfect for extended trips in remote areas.
What kitchen equipment is included?
Each camper comes fully equipped with cookware, kitchenware, and essential gear so you can travel light and worry-free.
How much energy autonomy do the campers have?
The campers are equipped with a solar battery system and Alpicool fridge. The Teardrop Trailer includes a 200W solar panel and 100Ah battery, keeping you powered up even in the most remote spots.
Are the campers suitable for gravel and off-road routes?
Absolutely. Every vehicle in our fleet has been specifically adapted for Patagonia's conditions — the roads, the weather, the distances. We know what works here because we've tested it ourselves, with our own families, on these same roads.

Where do I pick up the camper?
The Teardrop Expedition Trailer is available for pick-up and drop-off exclusively in Puerto Varas.
The Peugeot Landtrek 4x4 can also be picked up at other locations — just get in touch with us beforehand and we'll work out the details.
Can I use the camper to travel to other locations besides Carretera Austral?
You can go anywhere. You just have to return the vehicle in Puerto Varas or schedule a one-way drop-off with us before your trip.
Can I cross into Argentina with the camper?
It depends on which vehicle you're renting. The Peugeot Landtrek 4x4 is authorized to cross into Argentina. The Teardrop Expedition Trailer is for use within Chile only.
