1. General Information

XCAPE Adventure is a company based in Puerto Varas, Chile, dedicated to the design, manufacture, sale, and rental of off-road camper trailers, as well as the rental of fully equipped 4x4 vehicles with campers.

By accessing this website, purchasing, or renting any XCAPE Adventure product or service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content displayed on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and designs, is the exclusive property of XCAPE Adventure and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written authorization.


3. Sales – Warranty

All XCAPE Adventure trailers sold as new products include a six (6) month legal warranty, in accordance with Chilean consumer protection law.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not include:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or overloading

  • Improper use or lack of maintenance

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • Damage resulting from off-road use beyond the intended design limits

Any warranty claim must be reported within the legally established timeframe and will be evaluated by XCAPE Adventure.


4. Rentals – General Conditions

4.1 Rental Requirements

To rent any XCAPE Adventure trailer or vehicle, the client must:

  • Be 21 years of age or older

  • Present valid identification and a valid driver’s license

  • Sign a rental agreement prior to delivery

For trailer rentals, the towing vehicle must have:

  • A 2-inch hitch receiver

  • Electrical connection compatible with the European plug system

The trailer does not require an electric brake controller to operate.


4.2 Minimum Rental Period

  • Low season (March to December): minimum 3 days

  • High season (January and February): minimum 15 days


4.3 Pick-up and Return Location

Pick-up and return are available only in Puerto Varas, Chile.

The equipment must be returned to the same location where it was collected, unless otherwise previously agreed in writing with XCAPE Adventure.


4.4 Payment & Reservation

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation

  • The remaining 50% must be paid at the time of pick-up


4.5 Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund of the deposit with 10 days’ prior notice

  • 50% refund of the deposit with 7 days’ prior notice

  • No refunds for cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice


5. Use, Responsibility & Condition of Equipment

Rental equipment is delivered in proper working condition. No warranty applies to rentals, as they are considered a service.

The renter is fully responsible for the equipment during the rental period and agrees to:

  • Use the equipment responsibly and only for its intended purpose

  • Not exceed load limits

  • Not perform unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • Return the equipment in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear

Any damage, loss, or misuse will be charged to the renter.

XCAPE Adventure is not responsible for personal injury, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during the rental period.


6. Liability

XCAPE Adventure shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use any purchased or rented equipment.


7. Modifications to Terms

XCAPE Adventure reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version published on the website at the time of use shall apply.


8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Chilean courts.
